The Committee
Without These Guys There Would Be No Club
Paul Rees
Chairman
"Hi I'm Paul, As well as coaching I have been given the opportunity to step up and be the chairman of our fantastic club. I take this responsibility very seriously and want to see our club grow and grow. The aim of the club is quite clear, we want all players to have fun and have an equal chance of playing and progressing. We don't want to be the biggest club but our aim is to be the best. I feel we have a great team not only of committee members but of coaches as well. I look forward to see where we can take the club to in the future"
James Caine
Vice Chairman
"Hi I'm James Caine. I’ve recently accepted the role of Vice Chairman to work with Paul as I only saw the positives in the opportunity. I’ve known and played in the same team as Paul for a number of years and since I joined as a coach, the club has grown in age groups and FA standing. We have our own ground and are also accredited as a Charter Standard Club. I’m looking forward to the future in helping the club to continue on its current path and keep the grassroots side of football alive. We have a great club here with brilliant players and the support of their families"
Dawn Lalor
Treasurer
"Hi I'm Dawn Lalor. I decided to take on this role to support the committee and the club. I enjoy working alongside the committee and parents to help make the children's experience at AFC WOLVES a great one and ensuring sufficient funds are in place to assist with this"
Dawn has one of the most difficult and thankless tasks at the club , dealing with money , Her hard work , determination and eagerness to keep the purse strings tight whilst still making sure we have everything we need is legendary.
Rae-Michelle Catlow

"Hi I'm Rae Catlow. I enjoy helping out as Club Secretary as I want to give something back to my Son's Football Club and in the process I gain experience, new skills and meet new people"
As Club Secretary Rae has many different roles . Here hard work and commitment to the club is invaluable
Debbie Springett
Child Welfare Officer
"Hi guys, I'm Debbie Springett your club child welfare officer. I decided to undertake the role so my son could continue playing football with his friends, some of them have played together since the age of 4/5. AFC Wolves U'11's are a family and we want the other age groups to be able to create the same bond that we have"
Lee Sharples
Founder
"Hi I'm Lee. I was initially part of a different grassroots club for 5 years before I decided to create my own club. May 2014 is when Chris Parkinson and myself created AFC Wolves. The aim was to be the best not the biggest. Chris left the club in 2016 and I asked parents for help to create our own committee who would help me make decisions that were best for their children. I have 2 children who have never been a part of AFC Wolves due to their age. I stepped down as chairman in November 2018 due to taking the chairman seat at Clitheroe FC. I'm very proud of my achievements at AFC Wolves, with Burnley being a big catchment area and having plenty of other clubs we have continued to grow at a manageable rate. We have also secured our own playing field with facilities and funding to follow. The club is in good hands with the committee in place and I look forward to watching the progress and helping where possible"
